Content : Paramount Ductless Enclosures (also known as ductless fume hoods) use carbon filters to rid the work area of hazardous fumes and vapors. Filters are available for adsorbing or treating acid gases, solvents, ammonia, formaldehyde and radioisotopes. Two types of carbon or one type of carbon and a HEPA filter may be stacked for mixed use applications in these ductless hoods. FilterMate Portable Exhausters connect to Demonstration Hoods, XPert Balance Enclosures, Protector XVS Ventilation Stations or Protector Work Stations. Models are available that use a HEPA filter, carbon filter or combination of both filters to remove particulate and/or organic solvent, formaldehyde or ammonia vapors from the exhaust air.
